Gary & Terri Camlin

Gary & Terri serve with ReachGlobal, the international mission of the Evangelical Free Church of America.  They have lived in Loures, a suburb of Lisbon, Portugal since 1997.  Gary serves as assistant director of the Portuguese Bible Institute and professor of practical theology and New Testament exegesis.  Terri serves as administrative assistant of the school.  Both also mentor students who are preparing for positions of leadership in local churches.  In addition, they are part of the Lisbon City Team, along with other ReachGlobal missionaries.  The team focuses on evangelism, discipleship, church planting and theological education.  Portugal is predominantly Roman Catholic (only about 1% are evangelical Christians), but a growing number of Portuguese are coming to faith as they seek relevant answers to life’s spiritual questions.  Before going to Portugal, Gary was pastor of Northwood Hills Bible Church in north Dallas, Tx from 1982-1993.  Their daughter Debbie and husband Brian Ford, along with 6 year old Kaylynn and 3 year old Noah live in Spokane, WA
