The Difference Between A Parade And A Proposal
Carson Wentz had quite a week when he participated in the Super Bowl parade and when his girlfriend accepted his wedding proposal. Yet there is quite a difference between the two. One passes by whereas the other one says, “Come on along and hop on board.” Jesus didn’t come to wave and sign autographs. He proposes a life changing message: “Get in – hop on board – come along and follow Me.”
Don’t Plow, Do Prepare
“Plows don’t deal with snow; they just move it around…We need to be willing to hear the message that John the Baptist is going to share which will bring out this truth: if I want to be prepared for God to work in me, I can’t plow sin.
